[Verse] I saw a neon balloon in the sky Floating higher higher No goodbye It shimmered pink It shimmered blue Was it real or just a dream I flew [Chorus] Neon balloon Take me soon Up past the stars To the moon Neon balloon I’m weightless now No rules No ground Don’t ask me how [Verse 2] The strings were glowing Pulling tight Like a comet dragging me through the night I heard it whisper "Come and play" But what it said It wouldn’t say [Chorus] Neon balloon Take me soon Up past the stars To the moon Neon balloon I’m weightless now No rules No ground Don’t ask me how [Bridge] Maybe it’s helium Maybe it’s fate Maybe it’s just a twist in my state But I’m not coming back Not landing soon I’m tied to this neon balloon [Chorus] Neon balloon Take me soon Up past the stars To the moon Neon balloon I’m weightless now No rules No ground Don’t ask me how
