Cover! Lyrics by Heart Force. Artist Iron Legacy. A tribute to Iron Maiden. The kings of Heavy Metal [Verse] Shadows creep Whispers cry Cold winds tear the barren sky Figures move Lost in the haze Fear clawing through the midnight maze [Chorus] Fear of the dark It’s watching me Fear of the dark Shackled souls Though I cannot flee Eyes in the black Piercing flame Hunting me Whispering my name [Verse] Flicker of light But it's too late Breathing slow Sealing my fate The walls close in The silence shrieks The dark commands My courage leaks [Bridge] Can you hear it? A phantom cry Heart beats fast Yet I won’t die Suffocating It pulls me deep Into the depths Where shadows creep [Chorus] Fear of the dark It’s watching me Fear of the dark Shackled souls Though I cannot flee Eyes in the black Piercing flame Hunting me Whispering my name [Verse] The light fades The abyss calls A ghostly hum in empty halls One last breath I dare to fight But fear consumes all hope tonight [Chorus] Fear of the dark It’s watching me Fear of the dark Shackled souls Though I cannot flee Eyes in the black Piercing flame Hunting me Whispering my name Fear of the Dark! Fear of the Dark……. Lyrics by Heart Force.
