Weight On My Back

A cinematic R&B piece featuring soulful male vocals, lush orchestral strings, and layered harmonies, The arrangement builds from sparse piano and subtle percussion in the verses, adding brass, choir, and dynamic drums as tension rises, Climactic, anthem-like choruses explode with full instrumentation

[verse]
i've got this weight on my back,
and it's not hard to telllll,
my life's not built for this lack,
my heart's just ready to spillllll,
.

[prechorus]
but I keep lookin' forward, to the joy set somewhere out there,
and I keep waitin' more or less patiently, here I am, ready for this.
.

[chorus]
so let's fly,
give me wings,
and i'll soar,
and i'll soar,
up so high,
you will see i'm ready for more,
ready for more,
oh won't you trust me with all i've been waiting for,
trust me with all i've been waiting for?
[verse]
nothing is holding me back, but this weight on my back, yea this weight on my back,
I can't say this burden is where it's at,
not that it matters, that's a fact,
.

[prechorus]
so i'll, just keep on trudging ahead.
cause nothing in my life matters if I don't finish this, finish this, finish this, FINISH this thing.
.

[chorus]
so let's fly,
give me wings,
and i'll soar,
