A red flicker through the blinds Someone's there, or just my mind Cracks in time I can’t rewind But I feel the breath behind Ooooh, don’t look back too long Oooh, it might not be gone Beware what you invite It doesn't knock, it bites You laughed and struck the match Now try to dodge the light I heard your boots last night You didn’t say a word But the air twisted right Like it learned to hurt Glass on the floor like clues Shoes lined up but not yours You say there's nothing to lose But I see you checking the doors Oooh, it’s not in the walls Oooh, it waits when you fall Beware what you let in It doesn’t smile, it grins You kissed the spark, now run The game is set, begin Ahhh-ahh... beware... beware... Ahh-ahh... no one's there... Sleep if you dare But don’t blame the night You built the door You left it wide
