Thankful for Every Friend Verse 1 Another year has come around, And kindness fills my heart today. So many friends have thought of me And sent a little love my way. Chorus I’m thankful for every friend I have— The new ones and the old, The ones I see most every day, And those I seldom hold. Though miles and years may come between, Our friendship doesn’t end. On this birthday, I thank the Lord For every single friend. Verse 2 And I’m thankful for this Facebook road That keeps us all in touch, For every birthday wish you sent— They truly mean so much. Final Chorus I’m thankful for every friend I have— Whether near or far away. You filled my heart with memories And made me smile today. Another year, another chance To say it once again: I’m grateful for your birthday wishes, And thankful for every friend.
