[Intro – Powerful melodic male lead] You stiffnecked and uncircumcised In heart and ears, You do always resist The Ruach Hakodesh. [Verse 1] As your fathers did, So do you. Which of the prophets Have not your fathers persecuted? And they have slain them Which showed before Of the coming of the Just One, Of whom you have been now The betrayers and murderers. [Verse 2] Who have received the law By the disposition of angels, And have not kept it. [Chorus – Enormous male harmonies] You do always resist The Ruach Hakodesh! As your fathers did, So do you! You have received the law, And have not kept it! [Verse 3] When they heard these things, They were cut to the heart, And they gnashed on him With their teeth. But he, being full Of the Ruach Hakodesh, Looked up steadfastly into heaven, And saw the glory of Elohim, And Yahushua standing On the right hand of Elohim. [Bridge – Majestic brass] And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, And the Son of man standing On the right hand of Elohim. [Verse 4] Then they cried out With a loud voice, And stopped their ears, And ran upon him With one accord, And cast him out of the city, And stoned him. And the witnesses Laid down their clothes At a young man's feet, Whose name was Saul. [Verse 5 – Deep solemn male lead] And they stoned Stephen, Calling upon Elohim, And saying, Master Yahushua, Receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, And cried with a loud voice, Master, lay not this sin To their charge. And when he had said this, He fell asleep. [Final Chorus – Powerful reverent harmonies] Behold, I see the heavens opened, And the Son of man standing On the right hand of Elohim. Master Yahushua, Receive my spirit. Master, lay not this sin To their charge. [Outro – Entirely sung] And when he had said this, He fell asleep.
