[Intro - piano woth soft vocal melodies] mmmm [Verse 1] I don’t always say how it is I don’t always use the words Actually, it's a shade of colour Or in an emotion...they are the same thing I feel things in changing colours Soft blue, gold, and grey I speak in warmth and silence More than what I say [Pre-Chorus] You hear a sentence I hear emotion You see a moment I feel it grow ooo [Chorus] I speak in colour I speak in light I speak In quiet tones That glow in the night If you listen close You’ll understand My heart doesn’t shout It listens to yours instead mmmmm [piano and vocal instrumental the melody of the chorus] [Verse 2] When the sky turns pale and silver That’s the mood I’m in When the room feels warm and amber That’s where love begins I don’t measure things in logic Or lines that start and end I measure them in feeling And how the colours bend [Chorus] I speak in colour I speak in light In lavender air And midnight blue skies If you hold the silence the peace and the calm You’ll hear my heart An emotional so soft, so pure...and so calm mmmmm [instrumental - glassy shimmer piano in light crystaline colours] [Bridge – very soft] Not every language Needs to be loud Some are whispers Floating like clouds [Chorus – stripped back] I speak in colour I speak in light You don’t have to solve me Just sit next to me And feel my energy Can you hear it? This is the language of the heart [Chorus] I speak in colour I speak in light I speak In quiet tones That glow in the night If you listen close You’ll understand My heart doesn’t shout It listens to yours instead mmmmm
