A Year of Unforeseen Events
(Verse 2 - English) The year began with hope, but quickly turned to pain, October 7th came, and Israel cried in vain. The world’s compassion lasted less than a week, When Israel stood to fight, the voices turned bleak. The sorrow of hostages, hearts gripped in despair, While protests raged on campuses without a care. The director at Harvard, blind to the hate, Claimed it depends on context when threats relate. (Verse 4 - English) UNRWA’s lies, the world’s pressures grew, To feed those who wish us harm, what could we do? But Israel stood strong, resisting defeat, Breaking Hamas’s tunnels, their reign incomplete. Miracles in the north, tunnels exposed, A plan by Hezbollah that never arose. God’s hand guided us through the storm, With each victory, our spirits were reborn. (Verse 6 - English) The war continues, but victory’s near, With God’s guidance, we’ve nothing to fear. Iran launched missiles, but they failed to harm, As Israel stood strong with a steady arm. Netanyahu’s strength, a biblical might, Led our people through the darkest night. The world may not understand our way, But God is our King, and for us, He’ll stay.
