[Intro — Spoken] You thought it was over. The stone was sealed. The grave was closed. But heaven had other plans. [Verse 1] Darkness thought it had the final word Silence covered every street But somewhere underneath that stone Death was losing its grip The morning broke The earth shook hard The stone rolled away The grave could not contain Him The night could not hold back the day [Pre-Chorus] Hear the sound Feel the ground Something changed forever [Chorus] HE'S RISEN! HE'S ALIVE! THE KING OF GLORY IS ALIVE! DEATH IS BROKEN! THE GRAVE IS DONE! JESUS CHRIST HAS OVERCOME! HEY! HEY! LET THE WHOLE WORLD KNOW! HE'S RISEN! HE'S ALIVE! [Verse 2 — Rhythmic / Spoken-Sung] Love went down into the darkness Love came walking out again The cross was not the ending It was victory beginning Sin lost its power Fear lost its throne The stone was rolled away And the One who conquered death Is calling us by name [Pre-Chorus] Hear the sound Feel the ground Something changed forever [Chorus] HE'S RISEN! HE'S ALIVE! THE KING OF GLORY IS ALIVE! DEATH IS BROKEN! THE GRAVE IS DONE! JESUS CHRIST HAS OVERCOME! HEY! HEY! LET THE WHOLE WORLD KNOW! HE'S RISEN! HE'S ALIVE! [Bridge — Half-Time Breakdown] Where is death? GONE! Where is the grave? BROKEN! Where is the fear? GONE! Who holds the keys? JESUS! Who conquered death? JESUS! Who lives forever? JESUS CHRIST! [Guitar Solo] [Final Chorus — Full Band] HE'S RISEN! HE'S ALIVE! THE KING OF GLORY IS ALIVE! DEATH IS BROKEN! THE GRAVE IS DONE! JESUS CHRIST HAS OVERCOME! HE'S RISEN! HE'S RISEN! HE'S RISEN! LET THE EARTH REPLY! HE'S RISEN! HE'S ALIVE! [Outro — Crowd Chant] HE LIVES! HE LIVES! HE LIVES! JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE!
