[Verse 1] When the classroom says the answer's settled And the room turns every question small You can raise your hand with quiet courage You don't have to hide your faith at all Look inside a seed, a beating heartbeat Watch a bird return across the blue Every living part fits close together There is wisdom written into you [Pre-Chorus] Take your time, examine what you hear Truth can stand beside an honest question here [Chorus] Do not be ashamed of the testimony Of our Lord, let your heart speak plainly You can say, I believe life was created By a mind whose love has never faded Do not be ashamed when your voice is tested Hold to what you know, let your hope be witnessed When you stand for truth, you never stand alone The Creator made you, and He calls you home [Verse 2] Find the stories of the ones before you Brothers, sisters who were once unsure They explored the patterns and the evidence Found a reason deeper than a slogan's lure Many careful minds have seen the question Life is more than chance assembled blind In the order, beauty, and connection They discern the work of an intelligent mind [Pre-Chorus] So read and think, and let conviction grow A patient search can teach you what is true to know [Chorus] Do not be ashamed of the testimony Of our Lord, let your heart speak plainly You can say, I believe life was created By a mind whose love has never faded Do not be ashamed when your voice is tested Hold to what you know, let your hope be witnessed When you stand for truth, you never stand alone The Creator made you, and He calls you home [Bridge] If a teacher laughs, be kind but steady If a friend asks why, be calm and ready You are not required to know each answer Only walk with faith and honest prayer [Final Chorus] Do not be ashamed of the testimony Of our Lord, let your heart speak plainly You can say, I believe life was created By a mind whose love has never faded Do not be ashamed, let the whole world hear it Truth is not afraid when a sincere heart nears it When you stand for truth, you never stand alone The Creator made you, and He calls you home [Outro] I will not be ashamed I will speak His name
