COOL ABOUT IT Plans change halfway through, somebody's late, somebody's lost the thread, one thing turns into another, nobody knows what happens next. Cool about it, cool about it, don't make a mountain from a minute. Cool about it, cool about it, let the strange little moments fit. Quick laugh, clean change, nothing has to stay the same. Quick calculation, rapid translation, two different answers to the same situation, switch the direction, rewrite the decision, laugh at the part where nobody listened. Back-to-back comments, somebody's distracted, half of the sentence gets badly misacted, wrong turn, missed call, plans rearranging, five minutes later everybody's laughing. One says Tuesday, one says Thursday, someone completely forgot about Friday, nobody's certain, nobody's worried, somehow the whole thing still works out nicely. Cool about it, cool about it, don't make a mountain from a minute. Cool about it, cool about it, let the strange little moments fit. Quick laugh, clean change, nothing has to stay the same. No big speech, no grand conclusion, sometimes the answer is a different direction. Plans change. People laugh. Things get messy. That's that. Cool about it. Keep it real. Take the moment as it feels.
