Sacred Union V.01 - By The War Scroll

(Verse 1) In the beginning, God decreed, A bond between two hearts, indeed, A man shall leave, his parents' hold, And cleave to one, as Scripture's told. (Chorus) So let no man, by his decree, Break what God joined eternally, For in His eyes, they are but one, A union sealed, by Christ the Son. (Verse 2) To those who've wed, this charge is given, By God Himself, it's straight from heaven, Let not the wife, her husband leave, Nor he depart, but in love cleave. (Bridge) And if, by chance, the bonds should break, Let them not seek, for their own sake, But seek reconciliation's grace, Restoring love in this sacred place. **Prayer:** Heavenly Father, We come before You, humbled by Your presence, acknowledging Your sovereignty over all things, including the sacred covenant of marriage. We thank You for the institution of marriage, designed by You from the very beginning, as a reflection of Your love for Your people. We pray for every married couple facing challenges and trials, that Your Holy Spirit would strengthen their bond and guide them in their journey together. Lord, we lift up those who have strayed from the path of marital commitment, asking for Your divine intervention to soften their hearts and lead them back to reconciliation and restoration. Grant them the wisdom to seek forgiveness and the courage to extend it, following the example of Your Son, Jesus Christ. May Your word, which declares the sanctity of marriage, resonate in the hearts of all couples, reminding them of their sacred union and the vows they made before You. Help them to honor and cherish each other, walking in love and unity, as You intended. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.
