Verse 1 When the trials rise like thunder, And the darkness crowds the way, We will trust the God of justice, Who will wipe our tears away. Though the world may stand against us, Though the fire burns so bright, We are held by Christ our Savior, Walking by His faithful light. Pre-Chorus We won't fear, we won't be shaken, For His promises remain. Chorus Stand firm, hold on, To the truth we've known all along. Jesus reigns, He's coming again, King of glory, righteous Friend. Through the storm, through the fight, We will walk by faith, not sight. Stand firm, hold on, Till our Savior brings us home. Verse 2 Many voices bring confusion, Many hearts are led astray, But God's Word remains unchanging, Guiding us from day to day. Though the mystery of evil Works its shadow for a time, Christ will crush all lawless powers When He comes in strength divine. Pre-Chorus We won't fear, we won't be shaken, For His kingdom cannot fail. Chorus Stand firm, hold on, To the truth we've known all along. Jesus reigns, He's coming again, King of glory, righteous Friend. Through the storm, through the fight, We will walk by faith, not sight. Stand firm, hold on, Till our Savior brings us home. Bridge Keep on praying, keep on working, Don't grow weary doing good. Every labor for His glory Is accomplishing what it should. Soon the trumpet sound will echo, Soon we'll see our risen King, Every nation, tribe, and tongue then At His feet their crowns will bring. Final Chorus Stand firm, hold on, To the truth we've known all along. Jesus reigns, He's coming again, King of glory, righteous Friend. Through the storm, through the fight, We will walk by faith, not sight. Stand firm, hold on, Till our Savior brings us home. Outro The Lord of peace Himself will give you peace, At all times and in every way. Stand firm... hold on... Jesus is coming again.
