A violin weeps in the sea breeze A window opens Broken crystals fall A lighthouse keeps watch over shadows and sorrows no one dared to name The haunted man is only a silhouette fading from the mirror of time Broken Broken again and again Another life Another time Another you Or perhaps only another dream wearing your face The haunted man travels through turbulent dark waters beneath a thunderstorm This time he leaves a single rose outside your window— the only thing the storm could not carry away Far away a star falls from the sky No one notices The planet keeps turning as though nothing has happened A violin weeps beside the ocean It has no eyes no face... only a tender soul And somehow it knows a star has fallen Not enough to tell you about love... But enough to survive a life without you Poetry By: @bluevwhale
