[Verse] Hear A Psalm of Asaph… Mighty God the LORD has spoken, and called the earth at sunrise unto the going down thereof. [Pre-chorus] The perfection of beauty. Out of Zion, God hath shined Our God shall come. He shall not still his cry! [Verse] A fire devours before him, And round him be tempestuous. He shall call the earth, and the heavens above, That he may his people judge. [Chorus] Gather my saints to me. Those who have by sacrifice my covenant. The heavens declare his righteousness: For God be the judge himself! [Reverence] Hear, my people! I will speak! O Israel, I will testify against thee: I am God! Even thy God!! I reprove not the lacking sacrifice and offerings, [Verse] Absent sacrifice remains before me. From your house a bull I will not pry, Nor the male goats of thy fold. For every forest beast is mine. [Verse] All are mine, wild beasts of the field. And the cattle on a thousand hills! I would not tell thee I know all fowls of the mountains! [Verse] For I would not tell thee: Though hunger press me nigh The world and its fulness Are mine in all times! [Pre-chorus] The perfection of beauty. Out of Zion, God hath shined Our God shall come. He shall not still his cry! [Chorus] My saints, Gather to me. Who by sacrifice are my covenant. Heaven declares their righteousness: God himself is the judge! [Solo] [Verse] Will I drink blood of goats? Will I eat flesh of bulls? Pay me most High thy vows. Then call for me in times of trouble. [Bridge] Offer to God thanksgiving; I will deliver thee, And thou shalt glorify me. I will deliver thee!! But unto the wicked God saith [Verse] Hast thou declared my statutes? Hast thy mouth covenant with me? Seeing thou hatest instruction, And cast my words behind thee [Verse] When thou sawest a thief Thou consented with him And partook with adulterers You gave your mouth to And thy tongue frames deceit. [Verse] You speak out against thy brother; You slander your own mother’s son. Even though I kept silent, I know what thou hast done. [Verse] You think I am one. One as thyself and thine. But I will, I will reprove thee, And set all in order before your eyes. [Verse] Now ye that forget God consider, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver, Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me! [Pre-chorus] See the perfection of beauty! Out of Zion, God doth shine! Our God shall come again. He shall never still his cry! [Chorus] Gather saints, gather to me! You for covenant sacrifice much! The heavens declare my righteousness! God himself shall be the judge! [Repeating Outro] To those whose speech is free of fraud To them will I show the salvation of God. [Psalm 50 A 2k3a(EaR2Eb)]
