[Verse] Sharper than a double edge it slices through the night In the dark it brings the light it separates the right Cuts through bone and marrow finds the hidden depths inside Reveals the thoughts and purpose the secrets it won’t hide [Verse 2] Alive and full of power it’s a fire in the soul Judges every motive makes the broken spirit whole It guides us through the trials shows the path we should walk In silence and in whispers it’s the truth that always talks [Chorus] Oh the word of God heals us all Breaks the chains and breaks our fall In its love we will stand tall Oh the word of God heals us all [Verse 3] When the world is heavy burdens feel like lead It lifts the weary heart speaks life to the dead Comfort in the chaos peace we never knew Every word a lifeline always tried and true [Verse 4] Mighty is its wisdom deep as any sea With faith it moves mountains sets the captives free No problem is too tangled no heart is too cold The word of God’s eternal purest truth untold [Chorus] Oh the word of God heals us all Breaks the chains and breaks our fall In its love we will stand tall Oh the word of God heals us all
