my happy song

This is my first attempt at a happy song, theres not much to go by, it's just been so long, I hope i can come with the lyrics that will make you sing along, I've been wanting to do this for oh so very long, I just need to come up with the topic for my song [Chorus] I can sing about, the forest and the trees, the sunset on the beach, the rivers in the canyons, or the snow caps in the mountains, but those are things I never see, so I guess that ain't for me... [2ND VERSE] Now this first attempt at this happy song, I really didn't think that it would take so long, it's hard to find the lyrics that will make you want to sing along, so let me take a hit of inspiration from my bong, it might help come up with a topic for my song. [Chorus] I can sing about, kids playing with dirty feet, the laughter in the streets, the love for one another, We're all sisters and brothers, but those are things that I just don't see, so I guess "that ain't me" [ Music solo] [bridge] I need to stop wasting so much time trying to force my mind to come up with happy topics for my song, with all the hate and division, destruction in towns we live in, and with the kids disappearing this might not be a happy song, but the topics I just mentioned, even though they cause such tension, I know a lot of people can sing along. [ENDING CHORUS] I can sing about, how easy things are for me, how i get things handed to me, because i live in the land of the free, but those are things I just don't see, so I guess, "this ain't for me " no it's just not me......
