With my old guitar and my simple voice, I fill the street with joy and passion every day, as I sing, I always think of the time I found my love. I saw her pass by one morning, she was just as I had imagined. I started walking beside her, but she didn´t even look at me, to her, I was just another stranger on that busy walkway. I followed her home, her neighborhood isn´t like mine hers is more colorful. She is a beautiful girl surely intelligent, charming, and well-to-do, that girl I dreamed of had set the bar very high. I sent her a letter filled with poetic verses, I revealed the secret of my heart, that I loved her before I even saw her, and since seeing her, my song has a new sound. We arranged to meet one mornig for a coffe, she would recognize me by the brown jacked a friend had lent me, but ( in just five minutes ) she put an end to my dream, it wasn´t how I imagined, it wasn´t how I dreamed, it was just a simple " hello " and a cold , tense " goodbye " and with the sound of those two notes, she wrote a brief, sad song for me. ( in just five minutes ) my dream vanished.
