In yon fair realm midst mountains high A wolf stands guard with bright keen eye Momiji named she takes her post By waterfall where rivers boast A shin'in blade in hand she wields With fur as white as winter fields Her duty sworn to mighty hill Tengu's watchful sentry still Oh Reimu came with shrine maiden's grace To challenge fate and paths embrace Momiji tried with all her might But could not stop the human's flight By the fall midst mist and spray They clashed as night turned into day A dance of blades and clash of wills Echoed through the mountain chills Though beaten down in lion's den Momiji ran to warn her kin Her duty done with speed unmatched To summon aid and strength unlatched Oh Reimu came with shrine maiden's grace To challenge fate and paths embrace Momiji tried with all her might But could not stop the human's flight
