Where is the church of Peter? Where is the church of Paul? Where is the church that used to be a beacon for the lost? Where has the power gone? Why are we not as strong? How can we reach the world the Spirit has been tossed? Rise up church, rise up Rise up church, rise up I hear a distant thunder roaring Like a storm that is approaching You can see the lightning as it roars across the sky The wind starts getting swifter The rain is getting closer It’s the latter rain that old men prophesied Rise up church, rise up Rise up church, rise up Rise up church, rise up Rise up church, rise up Revival is a comin’ Don’t be left behind Let the Spirit fill your heart Let the Gospel fill your mind The anointing is upon us The good news on our lips It’s time the church should rise And give the praise to Him Rise up, Rise up, Rise up. Rise up Rise up out of the cesspool of this world Rise up in victory by the Word Rise up and take your place As we call upon His name Rise up church, rise up. Rise up church, rise up Out of the miry clay Out of the darker days Out of the worldly ways Rise up Out of the lower place Into your high estate Out of the shadows Into the Light Rise up Father, we call on your grace Jesus, we call on your name Spirit, we ask you to fill this place Rise up church, rise up Father, we call on your grace Jesus, we call on your name Spirit, we ask you to fill this place Rise up church, rise up Revival is a comin’ Don’t be left behind Let the Spirit fill your heart Let the Gospel fill your mind The anointing is upon us The good news on our lips It’s time the church should rise And give the praise to Him Rise up, Rise up, Rise up. Rise up Rise up out of the cesspool of this world Rise up in victory by the Word Rise up and take your place As we call upon His name Rise up church, rise up. Rise up church, rise up Rise up. Rise up. Rise up Rise up, Rise up Rise up.
