🌙 "The Last of Her Kind" | #PoetVerse (Remix) 🦄

Through the mist of time she strides so bold A creature of wonder her story untold The forest whispers where magic stays Her shimmering coat outshines the day Oh the last unicorn she roams alone Through a world that forgets what it's known Her heart beats wild her spirit won't break Searching for others for her own sake The Red Bull's fire it scorches the skies A captive fate behind haunted eyes The wizard stumbles his spells go awry But courage burns where hope won't die Oh the last unicorn she roams alone Through a world that forgets what it's known Her heart beats wild her spirit won't break Searching for others for her own sake In a castle of kings where shadows creep A prince dreams of love in a night so deep Her beauty haunts him her voice like a song But she must choose where she belongs The ocean swells with the unicorns’ cry Their prison shattered they reach the sky Her kind returns yet she feels the ache For love unspoken for paths she forsakes
