English translation: With my wife, dog, and daughter I set out, through Germany and Denmark, heading north. In three days we reached our holiday destination: by ferry we crossed to Kristiansand fjord. In Denmark I developed a fever, and on the ferry a swelling began to hurt badly. At the place I had dreamed of I ended up in the hospital, where they discovered a large abscess. I stayed there for a week while my family continued the trip, then I flew home alone. Again in hospital I find my peace, but longing burns and will not cease. I see Lake Constance, blue as a dream the wind takes me through space and time My family drives back home on the winding way, while at home I nurse my wound each day. I hope one day the path will lead us back with our own camper van and better luck to complete this faled trip to the land that is still calling me softly.
