Foolishness to the World - By The War Scroll V.02

**Song:** (Verse) The word of the cross, to some it's just foolishness, But to us who are saved, it's the power of God's righteousness. For it's written, "I'll destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the understanding of the prudent, I'll despise." (Chorus) Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age's tribe? God's made foolish the wisdom of this world, Through the message of the cross, His power is unfurled. (Bridge) For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, And the weakness of God is stronger than them. He chose the foolish to shame the wise, And the weak things of the world, His power does arise. **Prayer:** Heavenly Father, We thank you for the message of the cross, Which to the world may seem like foolishness and loss. But to us who are being saved, it's the power of God, For in Christ crucified, we find our hope and laud. Lord, help us to understand your wisdom divine, And to see in the cross, your grand design. May we boast only in you and your grace, And in Christ, find our strength, our hope, our resting place. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. of the world, His power does arise. (instrumental outro)
