[Vers 1] In a dusty ol' saloon where the cowboys all roam, Two rough men sit chatty, call this place home. With boots on the table and hats tipped back low, They swap tales of spirits, and the whisky they know. [Vers 2] "Now I reckon," says Jake, "that no beer can compare, To the warmth of good whisky - oh, it's beyond rare." "That's right," says old Sam, with a grin on his face, "I’ll take a neat pour of bourbon over cold lace." [Vers 3] "We got Scotch from the Highlands, sweet Irish too, And Tennessee sour mash, so smooth it just flew. A splash of rye brings the spice to my soul, But a glass of that bourbon? Well, that’s my main goal!" [Vers 4] "But hold on there, partner," Jake raised his glass high, "I ain’t knockin’ cold beer on a bright sunny sky. When the sun's beatin' down and I’m thirsty, you see, A cold lager or pilsner’s still heavenly to me." [Vers 5] Yet the truth of it all is what really runs deep, In that warm, wooden bar where the memories heap. With a clink and a laugh, they share stories that flow, As they ponder their choices, to the whisky they’ll go. [Vers 6] But as dusk starts to fall, in the glow of the light, Out comes a bottle with a label so bright. “Forget all that whisky, we’ll take one for the road, Tonight, my dear friend, let’s drink Jäger-Shoot gold!” [Vers 7] So they laughed and they cheered, with a shot in each hand, Celebrating the moment, together they stand. In that lively saloon where the spirits run free, Whisky may reign, but tonight, it’s Jäger, you see!
