You cast a spell

There you stood at the bar The lights catching the blonde of your hair, I swear you cast a spell right there My heart was racing, I couldn’t explain, - Maybe it was magic, maybe it’s fate, Maybe the universe opened the gate, But when you looked my way, I knew— My heart skipped The smile - the hello was all it took It’s like the world stopped turning The music stopped pumping [chorus] Every moment, every smile, Felt like I’ve known you for a while, You cast a spell In the crowded room, it’s just us two— First glance could be forever tonight. Oh how I fell for you the minute I set eyes on you. We only had eyes for each other, Time melted with your laughter, Suddenly, I knew where I wanted to belong. That was in your strong arms forever You told me your stories Every word like a song, I could live a thousand lifetimes With you In this memory. [chorus] Every moment, every smile, Felt like I’ve known you for a while, You cast a spell In the crowded room, it’s just us two— First glance could be forever tonight. Oh how I fell for you the minute I set eyes on you. Felt like I’ve known you for a while, (for a while) In the crowded room, it’s just us two— (it was just us two) First glance could be forever tonight. Oh how I fell for you the minute I set eyes on you. First glance, that night Could have been forever— My heart was never the same. You cast your spell All it took was meeting you, Love became your name. [chorus] Every moment, every smile, Felt like I’ve known you for a while, You cast a spell In the crowded room, it’s just us two— First glance could be forever tonight. Oh how I fell for you the minute I set eyes on you. You cast a spell The spell of you My heart was never the same. You cast your spell All it took was meeting you, Love became your name.
