Though I walk through the valley, I will fear no evil You hold me when I’m not alright, Your love surrounds me, steady and unequal, You’re the rhythm in my heart tonight. (Verse 1) Got days I’m breaking, faith is shaking, Trying to hold on tight, I’m praying, waiting, soul is aching, Need Your hands to guide my life. But You lift my head when I’m sinking low, You remind me I’m not alone, “God is our refuge and strength”, I know, A present help when the storm has blown. (Pre-Hook) You restore me when I’m empty, You calm the waters in my chest, Pour Your mercy gently, You give my weary heart its rest. (Hook) The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want But sometimes I feel lost in the night, You lead me through the shadows when the road gets tough, I find my peace in Your light. Though I walk through the valley, I will fear no evil You hold me when I’m not alright, Your love surrounds me, steady and unequal, You’re the rhythm in my heart tonight. (Verse 2) Set a table for me in the presence Of the ones that wish me pain, You anoint my spirit with Your essence, Let Your goodness fall like rain. Surely goodness, surely mercy Follow me through every mile, Even when the tears come heavy, You still teach my heart to smile. (Bridge) When I’m lost, You find me, When I fall, You hide me, In the shadow of Your wings I’ll stay, “Create in me a clean heart, O God,” Renew my spirit day by day. (Hook – Final) The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want Your love turns darkness into light, You lead me like a father, never letting go, You hold me close through every fight. Though I walk through the valley, I will fear no evil With You, my future’s shining bright Your love surrounds me, more than equal, You’re the rhythm in my heart tonight. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- © [Precision].
