[Intro-distorted, ominous guitar riff] [Verse 1] Thunder cracks the blackened sky A shadow falls where angels die Forged in fire, born of pain Washing worlds in acid rain He walks a path the prophets feared The final word has now appeared [Chorus] Here he comes, the Hard Steel Man Fulfilling fate's unholy plan Got no soul, feels no desire Just cleanses all with iron and fire Yeah... the Hard Steel Man [Verse 2] Generals kneel and beg in fear Their hollow words all disappear Priests all clutch their golden cross A final prayer for all they've lost He speaks no evil, tells no lies Just the cold truth in his burning eyes [Chorus] Here he comes, the Hard Steel Man Fulfilling fate's unholy plan Got no soul, feels no desire Just cleanses all with iron and fire Yeah... the Hard Steel Man [Bridge] Is he the future? Is he the sin? The world outside is wearing thin He is the question and the cost For every single soul that's lost Watching the world of madness turn... Now it's his time to watch it burn... [Guitar Solo-Heavy, bluesy, doom-laden guitar solo] [Chorus] Here he comes, the Hard Steel Man Fulfilling fate's unholy plan Got no soul, feels no desire Just cleanses all with iron and fire Yeah... the Hard Steel Man [Outro-Riff gets slower and heavier] The Man... of Steel...
