A note pad, a pen in hand mind confused, just gone blank plain white paper waits for words to get across my final curse To my wife, I try to write to my children, I lost the fight to word the pain, to word the fear plain white paper, nothing’s here Words appear then vanish like magical fading ink all my thoughts, my worries carefully written in do the words carry will they understand plain white paper’s empty I just can’t write free hand My hands are shaking, holding on to every thought already gone the truth I fear is drawing near plain white paper shows my fear I put away the note pad, I put away the pen looked up to the sky above, my mind is wandering again the paper it is empty, the ink it never flowed and so I keep my thoughts within, plain paper just no note Andy.B 03.03.05
