First came the purple light in the dark, A rift in the quiet, a spreading mark. The teddy floated close to the opening wide, Armored and still as the Void pulled inside. Then the Void pulled him slowly inside, Twisting the body he couldn’t hide. Button eyes opened with a terrible stare, Teeth in a face that was never meant there. An arm raised up in the purple glow, Something reaching from the dark below. What once was soft now drifted alone… A warning the whole community owns. Now every voice carries the same old cry, “Justice for Teddy” under the sky. “They touched the teddy,” the anger won’t quit, “The squids will pay for this,” and they mean every bit. Some say he once belonged to a child, A memory left in the chaos wild. They’re calling him a martyr who fought on his own, A Helldiver lost where the light isn’t shown. And August twelfth feels like the day we reply, A rescue mission written across the sky. So we drop once again into the fight… They’re saying we do it for the Teddy tonight.
