[ABRAXAS] - Worldbearing March of a Primogenitor | #SoundSeasons

HOSI NO MAKIMONO Seventh Release: "[ABRAXAS] - Worldbearing March of a Primogenitor" Also submitted as my third and final entry for the Spring 2025 #SoundSeasons Contest. There are no lyrics for this song. Instead, I invite you to listen closely and share with me what kind of story it is able to paint for you with instruments alone. This is a song concept that has been floating around in my head for a while, but I wanted to make a point of it being my seventh release specifically. [ABRAXAS] is a word of power after all, with the seven letters representing the seven classical planets. I could have gone the extra mile and tried to get the song to seven minutes as well, but even I have limits to my absurdity. This song seeks to portray the majesty of an ancient and mystical figure, wandering eternal whilst bearing powers beyond mortal ken. An endless forward march into the long future ahead, bearing the weight of secrets that none shall ever know. A solemn legend, forever in solitude. How does one confront such a figure? Will the encounter result in conflict, or further enlightenment? Can one truly fathom the scale of such a burdensome legacy? I hope that [ABRAXAS] was able to convey the weight of the world that this nomad bears upon their shoulders, and bring you some small sliver of enjoyment in the prcess. Please stay tuned for future releases.
