[Verse 1] The sky is burning red tonight The fading stars fall one by one I hear the silence closing in As everything we knew is gone [Pre-Chorus] But through the ashes, through the rain I see one distant light remain If there is still a road ahead I'll follow where that light will lead [Chorus] Heaven's last light! Shining through the endless night Heaven's last light! Guide me through the fading sky When the world has lost its way And the final dawn turns gray Heaven's last light! I will carry you tonight [Verse 2] The broken heavens call my name A lonely wind moves through the flames I see your shadow in the glow Like one last memory I know [Pre-Chorus] If all the dreams we had must fade I'll keep the promise that we made And when the final hour comes I'll walk until the morning comes [Chorus] Heaven's last light! Shining through the endless night Heaven's last light! Guide me through the fading sky When the world has lost its way And the final dawn turns gray Heaven's last light! I will carry you tonight [Guitar Solo] [Bridge] When every angel falls from heaven And every prayer is lost in time I'll raise my eyes beyond the ruins And guard the final flame of mine No more sorrow No retreat The last light still burns in me [Final Chorus] Heaven's last light! Shining through the endless night Heaven's last light! Guide me through the fading sky When the world has lost its way And the final dawn turns gray Heaven's last light! I will carry you tonight Heaven's last light! Even when the heavens fall Heaven's last light! I will answer when you call When the final horizon fades And every distant star is gone Heaven's last light! I will become your dawn [Outro] Heaven's last light... Shining through the night... Heaven's last light... I will carry you.
