With a track like that, you really had some nerve, Talking like you won before I answered the verse. You say I made it in haste, just assembled random thoughts, Funny, every bar you wrote became a target that I caught. You say I play dumb, maybe that's what you assumed, But if I played dumb, why'd you write this much to prove? You called me homeless 'cause I said you never felt at home, Then wrote enough material to build yourself a tome. You said I have nothing on you, so I looked at what you gave me, You handed me the ammunition, don't blame me that you made it easy. You say I call your interests flaws, that's not exactly what occurred, I just took what you presented and returned it with a verse. You said you called it when I said you couldn't rap, Then spent half your track explaining why you think that's fact. That's not a “gotcha,” that's a paragraph defending your position, You say you don't need validation while begging for recognition. You turned off the stove? Cool, I guess the kitchen's closed, But every time you say you're cooking, something's getting overexposed. You said the punches aren't coming, that's convenient for you, 'Cause if they never showed up, what exactly did you do? You say you're running while I'm taking time, But rushing isn't winning, it's just moving through the line. You summon beats easily? Then summon something I should fear, 'Cause quantity ain't quality just because you made it disappear. You asked if I can handle punishment, Then called my moments weak. If I looked that finished, Why'd you need another week? You skipped the chorus 'cause you're tired of repeating, Yet half your arguments came back with the same meaning. You counted all my bars like a man behind a prison, That's funny coming from somebody trapped inside his own opinions. You said you don't know what my pills really are, Then wrote a whole line about them without saying what they are. You predict my lines like sunrise? That's a pretty big comparison, But I don't need to predict you when you give me all the patterns. You said my vision's poor, my wars are delusional, But your whole argument got increasingly convoluted and usual. You wanna call me sore while you're keeping score, If you really didn't care, why'd you write this much more? You told me to get off the couch, straighten up my posture, I'm standing perfectly fine, you're just reaching for the posture. You say I'm focused on fans while you're focused on one, Then wrote a whole diss proving you're focused on someone. You said I want attention, reckless obsession, But mentioning my name is still giving me attention. You want something fresh? Then don't recycle the same claim, “you want attention” is still attention when you say my name. You said you attack the truth, inspecting every clue, But if you really knew the truth, you wouldn't need to guess what I do. You can't see past me? That's rich coming from your view, You're analyzing my intentions more than I'm analyzing you. You said you can't lose— That's something you shouldn't say, 'Cause every round you drop Gives me something else to break. You thanked me for the cold hard lines, then said you got no reply, So here's the reply you kept asking for—now it's time. You said fight or flight? I'm choosing fight without hesitation, If your whole diss was the invitation, consider this confirmation. You said my design is simple, like a Lite-Brite, But simple doesn't mean weak when every piece fits right. You connect letters for nectar, make something sweet from pressure, I connect every setup to the punchline—that's the difference in texture. You said you're making gold, grinding out selections, Then spent your whole election talking about my mentions. You said I want votes, but you brought the whole campaign, Funny how the guy who “doesn't care” keeps campaigning in my name. You promised to put my lights out, then hand me a candle, That's not intimidation, that's a contradiction you can't handle. You can't extinguish something while you're giving it a flame, Pick a metaphor and commit before you say you're bringing pain. And then there's one thing you said That I couldn't let slide— You told me nothing rhymes with mushroom, So I kept that one aside. Not 'cause I needed it, Not 'cause that's the whole track, Just because I knew eventually I'd have to bring it back. Mushroom, push 'em, took 'em, shook 'em, Cook 'em, booked 'em, overlooked 'em. You said there wasn't a rhyme— I think I just disproved it. Now back to the diss, 'Cause that's not my whole case. It's just one little callback I saved for the right place. You said “call them theories, call them truth,” So I'll call this what it is: You gave me a mountain of material And expected me to miss. You said you're back, I to the A. Cool. Welcome to the battlefield.
