The FIrst Step (Good)

[Verse 1] This song is for the last one standing here today Someone who needs Jesus in a special way I've walked the path where you now stand Take the first step. He holds out His hand. [Verse 2] The first step's hard, but the Lord lights the way The devil whispers Wait another day Speak His name, I know you can Take the first step. He holds out His hand. [Chorus] Come to the Father, feel His love Rise on His hope, just like a dove Build on the rock, not shifting sand Take the first step. He holds out His hand. [Bridge] Why do you linger, why do you wait? He's calling now, don't hesitate This is the time, part of the plan Take the first step. He holds out His hand. [Chorus] Come to the Father, feel His love Rise on His hope, just like a dove Build on the rock, not shifting sand Take the first step. He holds out His hand. [ A Capella Piano Instrumental] [Chorus] Come to the Father, feel His love Rise on His hope, just like a dove Build on the rock, not shifting sand Take the first step. He holds out His hand. [Outro] He holds out his hand.
