[Verse] The wind it howls the sails do strain Our ship it groans through salt and rain A creak a cry a whisper plain The Northstar calls again [Chorus] Follow the Northstar bright and clear Follow the Northstar no room for fear Through stormy seas and skies so near Follow the Northstar home my dear [Verse 2] The captain’s hand is firm and bold His eyes like fire his heart like gold The waves they crash the night turns cold But the Northstar’s light we hold [Prechorus] Oh the dark it bites Oh the tide it fights But the star ignites [Chorus] Follow the Northstar bright and clear Follow the Northstar no room for fear Through stormy seas and skies so near Follow the Northstar home my dear [Bridge] The gulls they scream the lanterns swing The ropes they sing the ocean’s sting But in the sky that steadfast thing The Northstar’s guiding wing
