[Verse 1] Alarm goes off like a siren My face says “absolutely not” Blank stare, cold tile, bad timing Coffee’s weak, the toast is hot [Pre-Chorus] I drag my shoes to the door Count the cracks in the floor I know that look in the mirror It says “one more, one more” [Chorus] Another glorious day in paradise (Glorious day) Monday on my mind, Monday on my mind (Monday, Monday) Another glorious day in paradise It sure feels fine Ooooooooooooooo glorious day on MONDAY!!!!! [Verse 2] Bus rain on the window My name on a sticky note Someone says “good morning” too loud I just grin and choke [Pre-Chorus] I fake it, I play along Hum the same tired song I know that look in the mirror It says “hold on, hold on” [Chorus] Another glorious day in paradise (Glorious day) Monday on my mind, Monday on my mind (Monday, Monday) Another glorious day in paradise It sure feels fine Ooooooooooooooo glorious day on MONDAY!!!!! [Bridge] NOOOOOOOOOOOOT I mean, maybe Maybe if I lie real still Maybe if I laugh through it I can make it mine [Chorus] Another glorious day in paradise (Glorious day) Monday on my mind, Monday on my mind (Monday, Monday) Another glorious day in paradise It sure feels fine NOOOOOOOOOOOO monday!
