Mare Tacet, Navis Cadit

mare tacet… navis cadit… lux manet… cor deficit… mare tacet… navis cadit… lux manet… cor deficit… calm water… going under no sound… no thunder we don’t run… we don’t fight we just fade… out of sight calm water… slowly through nothing breaks… nothing moves we don’t fall… we descend to a quiet kind of end there’s no warning in the surface there’s no crack, no sign just a slow release of something you thought was always mine every breath feels normal every step the same but something deep beneath it doesn’t hold your name mare tacet… navis cadit… lux manet… cor deficit… calm water… going under no break… no wonder we don’t scream… we don’t try we just watch… it go by calm water… nothing to hold just a truth… growing cold we don’t fall… we release into something that feels like peace they don’t shout the ending they don’t force the line they just let it happen one inch at a time every quiet second pulls a little more till you stop remembering what you were before mare tacet… navis cadit… lux manet… cor deficit… mare tacet… navis… cadit… calm water… going under no sound… no thunder we don’t fight… we don’t flee we just are… what we see calm water… we remain in the loss… in the same we don’t fall… we descend to the quiet… without end mare tacet… navis cadit… © BStur - All rights reserved
