The Shimmer Of The Sound [SSC6 Poetry challenge]

V4

Verse 1 In the long shimmer of the Sound, Where the waves softly crash and pound, I may be found just drifting low, A humble soul that tides have found, Caught in currents as they flow. Between the rocks, the ocean sings, O, how the sea-weed sways and swings! Chorus Is it her hair or just the waves, Lost in the moon's embrace and craze? A song so wild, she sings and springs, The restless ocean that never stays. Verse 2 Some small task I'll never know, Maybe help the seashell glow, Or tint a pearl from deep below. A silent partner with the sea, Moving with grace and mystery. Chorus Is it a king or just a girl, Swept in the tide’s chaotic whirl? Her hands reach out in gleeful flight, Dancing under the moon’s soft light. Bridge O tell me, was this sea-weed found, In the shimmer of the Sound? Where mysteries are left unbound, By waves that hum without a sound. Outro All the while, she sways and sings, A siren lost in ocean strings. Mysterious sister, wild and free, That endless song, that timeless sea. [END]
