[Intro] I remember when Trudeau first got elected—there was so much hope, talk of sunny days. And now here I stand, feeling rejected and dejected -- hope lost, haze for days, seeking an out from this phase... [Verse 1] He promised to help the middle class, But my friends and I are struggling to make ends meet, Housing’s out of reach—taxes are high, Is this the “better life” he said we’d see? You guys worked hard—to give us a good life, But now—it’s harder for me to do the same, The debt’s piling up—and for what? Seems like they’re just wasting money—and playing games. [Chorus] Broken promises—empty words, That’s all I see from this government heard. I can’t vote for them in good conscience, Their actions don’t align with what they preach. Let’s hold them accountable—demand better, For our sake—and for our children’s future. [Verse 2] Ethical scandals—one after another, It’s like they think they’re above the law, Tokenism instead of real change, That’s not leadership—that’s just a show. You taught me to have integrity, To do what’s right even when no one’s looking, But this government seems to lack that, It’s time for a change—a new direction we’re booking. [Chorus] Broken promises—empty words, That’s all I see from this government heard. I can’t vote for them in good conscience, Their actions don’t align with what they preach. Let’s hold them accountable—demand better, For our sake—and for our children’s future. [Verse 3] I know you’re proud of being Canadian, And so am I—but we need to protect our country, Not let it be run into the ground, With leaders who don’t respect our values or our money. So—please—consider voting differently this time, Think about what’s best for our family—and our nation, It’s not about party loyalty, It’s about doing what’s right for our generation. [Bridge:] I’m not saying the other party is perfect, But they seem to align more with what we believe, Smaller government—fiscal responsibility, And ethical leadership—that’s what we need. [Outro] So—let’s make a stand together, Show that we won’t be fooled by their rhetoric anymore. Vote for change—vote for values, And maybe—just maybe—we can turn things around before it’s too late.
