[Verse 1] When September came around I saw (mmmm mmm mmmm) Dead trees awake, asleep no more, Cold hearts melt in winter's thaw, Forgetting times that were before... (fore, fore, fore, fore) [instrumental flourish] [Verse 2] The wind now bleeds amongst the trees Stirring life into dead leaves Blown away by the breeze And taken with my memories... [Chorus] Sometimes rain, Sometimes sun, Away from winter time we run, September's innocence again, September sometimes, now and then... Sometimes rain, Sometimes sun Awayyyyy, away, away away… (mmmm mmm mmmm) [Build] [Verse 3] Flowers bloom and kiss the sky, Clouds are banished from my eye Now I don't have to reason why Some will live And some Will DIE… (OHHHH, AHHHH, YEAHHH YEAH YEAHH) [Chorus] Sometimes rain 'n sometimes sun, (sometimes rain) Away from winter time (away from winter time) September's innocence again, (September's innocence again) September sometimes, now and then... now and... [Outro] Sometimes rain 'n sometimes sun, Away from winter time we run September's innocence again, September sometimes, now and then... now and (ohh ohh ohhh oh ooohh ohh ohh ohh) [end]
