Intro) (Fast trap beat kicks in with skittering hi-hats, punchy 808s, and a soaring violin motif) Yeah… Come on! Oh, you gotta be strong, gotta be courageous! The Lord is speaking, yeah! (Verse 1) Got the command, time to cross the water Every footprint claims the land for sons and daughters From the desert sands to the Great Sea tide No enemy can stand when the Lord is on my side You were with Moses, so I know You’re true You promised You would never leave, You’d see me through (Pre-Chorus) Looking at the river, wondering "Why me, God?" I’m not that strong, I'm just standing on this sod But You spoke into the night, gave the power and the light Now we marching forward, keeping every law in sight! (Chorus) (Trumpets blast with a full gospel choir backing) BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS! Your love for me is so outrageous! GOTTA BE STRONG AND VERY COURAGEOUS! Won't turn to the left, won't turn to the right Walking in the victory, walking in the light! BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS! (He told me to!) BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS! (Said He’d see me through!) 'Cause the Lord my God is with me! Yeah, the Lord my God is with me! (Verse 2) Step by step, put my feet upon the ground Every place I walk, another wall comes down Ain't no doubt in my mind, got the faith in my chest Heading straight to the promise, entering His rest Though the waters run deep and the road gets long I give You all the glory through every prayer and song! (Bridge) Thank You God for the road You showed me Holding on to every promise You gave me Not by my power, not by my force You guide my path, You set my course! (Chorus) (Full energy, violins swelling, heavy 808 bass drop) BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS! Your love for me is so outrageous! GOTTA BE STRONG AND VERY COURAGEOUS! Won't turn to the left, won't turn to the right Walking in the victory, walking in the light! BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS! 'Cause the Lord my God is with me! (Outro) (Violins fade out with soft trumpet flourishes) Every step of the way… You're with me. Joshua 1:9. Amen. Written by Joshua Mossman.
