Verse 1 I was walking in prayer, and suddenly the Lord of Lords was walking beside me. He walked with me along the lake. He is great, greater than I am. The marks of his nails on my feet will last for all eternity. He is the captain who safely steers my ship of life across the wide sea. In His presence is the fullness of joy, the fullness of His peace, which never ends. Chorus He is the rock that stands in the surf; no creature is like Him. He is the beginning and the end; His power never ends. Nations worship Him, my Lord, Savior, and Prince of Peace. Christ is His name, which echoes for all eternity; every knee will bow to Him, the Lord of all glory. Verse 2 I sat with Him on a bench, and He showed me deep in my spirit:Everything is prepared for the wedding of the Lamb. Invite My people and tell them, “The Bridegroom is coming very soon, in the not-too-distant future.” Be ready, for He comes like a thief in the night to surprise those who do not expect Him. Buy out the time and fill yourselves with His oil, for there are days when you will grow pale without His oil. Abide in His light, and you will see how glorious He is. Outro Come and follow Him and not the world, for the world will pass away, but whoever is in Him will endure for all eternity. In just a little while, He will be at the door. Will you let Him in, or will you shut Him out?
