In the storm when I'm breaking down Affliction heavy, despair all around But You see me, mindful of my fight Pull me out, bring me into the light From the peril, You rescue my soul Worthy of devotion, making me whole Deliver me, O Lord, open the door To life abundant, forevermore Direct my steps on Your path so true Adopted heir, praise flowing through In distress I declare Your name Your glory shines, breaking the chains You delivered from danger's hold Escape from strife, stories untold Be glorified in what I do and say In my deeds, show me Your way Deliver me, O Lord, open the door To life abundant, forevermore Direct my steps on Your path so true Adopted heir, praise flowing through In distress I declare Your name Your glory shines, breaking the chains Spirit lead me, heir to Your throne I’m not alone, in You I am home From despair to affirmation strong Praise through the pain, where I belong Deliver me, O Lord, open the door To life abundant, forevermore Direct my steps on Your path so true Adopted heir, praise flowing through In distress I declare Your name Your glory shines, breaking the chains Deliver... declare Your glory... In distress... praise You... [Music and Lyrics by Jennifer Leigh Nelson © 2026 Cajora Creations, LLC. All rights reserved]
