[Verse 1] Don't wear a red cape, don't fly through the air Don't shoot laser beams, don't cause a big stare Sometimes I wonder if the things I do matter at all When the world around me feels thirty feet tall But helping out a teammate when they're having a struggle Clearing off the table and settling the muddle [Chorus] I am an everyday hero! Standing up proud! Making a difference inside of the crowd! With a heart full of kindness and a hand raised high I don't need a cape to reach for the sky! Small good deeds build a world so bright Watch me shine my everyday light! [Verse 2] A smile at the doorway, a friendly 'good morning' Cheering on a friend without any warning These are the powers that can change someone's day Turning all the dark clouds into bright spray No spotlight needed for the work that we do I am a hero and so are you! [Chorus] I am an everyday hero! Standing up proud! Making a difference inside of the crowd! With a heart full of kindness and a hand raised high I don't need a cape to reach for the sky! Small good deeds build a world so bright Watch me shine my everyday light! [Outro] Every single day, doing what is right Everyday hero shining so bright! [End]
