Look in the mirror What do you see? Not just a body Not just a me The stars in your eyes Are actually stars The breath in your lungs Has traveled so far You are God Don't be afraid You are God Perfectly made Not separate, not small Not a fragment, not a part You are God With a human heart The homeless man sleeping Under the bridge The child just born The tree on the ridge The wave and the ocean Were never apart You are God From the very start You are God Let that land You are God You understand? Not blasphemy, baby Just the simplest truth You are God And so am I too Everything and nothing At the very same time The sacred, the broken The ordinary, sublime So treat yourself gently Treat others the same We're all God pretending To have different names You are God We are God There is only God Playing hide and seek With itself In a billion different forms You are God I am God Love is God And God Is Love
