Leaping the River
[Verse] Two frogs hopped through the forest Came upon a stream, must've been a thousand leagues wide Said, "We better turn around" Then the older frog smiled and replied "You see the river, and I see the other side" Young frog, full of fright It leapt out of fear, the old one out of delight They soared and they soared and they soared and they soared And something magical happened, they grew wings and took flight When they finally touched down, they was standin' in a desert The young frog's scared, the old one told it to measure It turned to its elder, asked it what was the treasure The old frog said, "You tell me" "Maybe a lesson 'bout the leap" "The one you take when the stakes is high and the path is steep" "The one you make out of faith and love and belief" "Of course, there's the greatest lesson of all" "The leap itself, and the splendor of the fall"
