God Will Judge (1 Samuel 24)
[Verse] In the desert of Engedi, Saul planned a hunt To bring down David with all of his brunt. He retreated for royal duties to do, Crouching defenceless, a target for David's coup. David's men whisper: "God offered this chance To get rid of him. Time to advance!" David snarls: "Playing judge is not my thing. I won't put out my hand against my king. [Chorus] Don't seek revenge. God will judge. Let David's story give a nudge. God will fight for your cause Better than you, so you just pause. [Verse] David approached to Saul with a knife To cut off his robe instead of his life. Relieved, Saul could leave the cave Unaware of the mercy David gave. Later David called him, "See, Don't think that I am your enemy. Here is the proof I'm doing good: I didn't kill you when I could. [Chorus] Don't seek revenge. God will judge. Let David's story give a nudge. God will fight for your cause Better than you, so you just pause. [Bridge] The Lord says, "Vengeance is mine". So wait for him to make it fine. Instead of taking revenge when you can, Trust that God has a better plan! [Chorus] Don't seek revenge. God will judge. Let David's story give a nudge. God will fight for your cause Better than you, so you just pause.
