In shadows cast by a bitter past, whispers echo, memories will last. I pen these words heavy with pain, A reflection of our loves stain. Once we danced with dreams in our eyes, our love sacred reaching the skies. But fate intertwined, cruel and unkind, bounding us both lives intertwined. Prison walls rise,cold and unforgiving, a cruel truth upon us now living. Locked away i yearn for your touch, longing for freedom a love i clutch. Drugs. The beginnings of our demise,a toxic cloud of scary skies. They stole your heart, led you astray, soon after that i get sent to prison,and watch our dreams decay ,my love and my soul forever intertwined a tough life undermind but let me say with tears shed id fight their darkness, reclaim whats mine. Together wed conquer demons that cant embrace the future, under loves fate ill heal these wounds with each passing day, stand by your side, come what may of these prison chains are temporary, my heart remains a beacon of hope amidst life. For i know love can conquer all, break down barricades make fort walls fall, So hold on my dear believe in this verse love can grow even in the worst stronger than before. Rebuild our lives stepping through the door. Through life truly hand in hand we will reclaim whats ours and find a new home
