[INTRO — WIND + DISTANT BAT WINGS] Whoooosh… flutter… flutter… [WHISPERED FEMALE VOICE] Deep beneath the desert sand… Something’s waking… [STONE DOOR GRINDING OPEN] [DEEP MALE WHISPER] The tomb has opened… [SINISTER LAUGH] Heh… heh… HAHAHAHA! [BEAT DROP] [VERSE 1 — FEMALE RAP] Moonlight shining over ancient stone, Buried secrets waking from their home, Dust in the air, torches burning bright, Mummy steps walking through the night. Wrapped up tight from the head to the feet, Slow little shuffle but the rhythm’s sweet, Hieroglyphs glowing on the wall, Then the bats come flying through the hall! [BAT SWARM SFX] FLUTTER! FLUTTER! FLUTTER! [PRE-CHORUS] Hear that scratching? Hear that sound? Something’s flying all around! Mummy’s moving, bats take flight, Welcome to the tomb tonight! [CHORUS — BIG DROP] Mummies and bats! Coming out tonight! Mummies on the floor, Bats up in the sky! Mummies and bats! Dancing in the dark! Ancient curses glowing Like a supernatural spark! Mummies and bats! Let the whole tomb shake! When the midnight bell rings— EVERY MONSTER WAKES! [MALE LAUGH] HAHAHAHAHA! [VERSE 2 — FEMALE RAP] Mummy in the corner got a wicked stare, Bat flying circles through the midnight air, Ancient crown sitting crooked on his head, Looks like this mummy just woke from the dead. Chains on the floor go— [CHAIN RATTLE] CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! Sand starts falling from the ceiling above, Something in the darkness ain’t showing no love. Bats swoop low, then they disappear, Mummy takes one step— [HEAVY FOOTSTEP] —and everybody cheers! [PRE-CHORUS] Torches flicker, shadows climb, Ancient spirits waking up on time, Hear those wings above your head, The mummy’s out— [WHISPER] And the dead have spread. [CHORUS] Mummies and bats! [BREAKDOWN — MUSIC CUTS] [DISTANT BAT WINGS] Flutter… flutter… [WHISPERED FEMALE VOICES] Don’t wake the mummy… Don’t open the tomb… Don’t— [STONE CRASH] [DEEP MALE VOICE] Too late.
