"The King's Train Is Comin'" Verse 1 Woke up this mornin', sky was blood-red dawn Rooster crowed three times, then the signal horn Folks keep cryin', "Peace!" but peace is long gone Still I feel it in my spirit... the King's train is comin' on Verse 2 Rumors of war, brother fightin' brother in the street Rich man feastin', poor man got no bread to eat Callin' darkness light now, got the whole world out of beat Hold your head up, child... the King's train's down the street Chorus Can you hear that whistle blowin', way down in your soul? Breakin' every shackle, makin' wounded sinners whole Every knee gonna bow when He rolls into the room Dry your weepin' eyes... the King's train is comin' soon Verse 3 I seen my great grandfather prayin', Bible on his knees Said, "Child, don't you worry... God's promises don't leave." I died there with my Savior... now He’s livin' life through me I ain’t walkin' in my strength no more... He keeps settin' me free Trumpets gonna sound and every grave'll lose its gloom I believe every word... the King's train is comin' soon Verse 4 Fig tree's buddin' over Jerusalem once more Desert blooms with roses like the prophets said before Nations gather 'round her like wolves outside the door But the Engineer wrote the schedule... and He’s never late before He promised that land to Abraham's own seed What the Lord has spoken, no man can repeal or steal indeed Kings may rage and kingdoms rise, but heaven don't presume God keeps every covenant... the King's train is comin' soon Bridge He ain't ridin' as a servant wearin' thorns upon His brow He's the Lion of Judah, and He's comin' ridin' now Fire in His eyes, every mountain starts to move Justice rolls like thunder... when the King's train rolls on through Final Chorus Can you hear that whistle blowin', rattlin' every tomb? Every tongue confessin' as He splits the clouds at noon No more dyin', no more cryin', no more darkness, no more doom Sing Hallelujah... the King's train is comin' soon Yes, Hallelujah... the King's train is comin' soon Outro Get your house in order... Shine your shoes... The King's train is comin'... And He's right on time... for you.
