Understand me

Understand Me I was built from different stars, stitched together with quieter skies. The world says, “Just be yourself,” then wonders why my self doesn’t fit their shape. My smile is real, but it costs me. Every crowded room, every conversation, every expectation takes another piece I don’t always get back. My battery fades long before the day is over. Not because I don’t care— because my mind runs marathons while everyone else is taking a walk. Some days, my body feels like it’s carrying years instead of hours. Invisible storms live beneath my skin, turning simple things into impossible mountains. People call it quiet. People call it distant. People call it complicated. I call it surviving. I love deeply, but I love carefully. Not because my heart is small— because it has learned what breaking feels like. I’m not asking you to fix the way I’m wired. I’m not asking you to carry every weight. I’m only asking you to stay long enough to learn my language. Love me when silence is easier than words. Love me when plans become too heavy to hold. Love me when I disappear just to find enough strength to come back again. Because beneath the overthinking, beneath the exhaustion, beneath the invisible battles… There’s someone who loves with everything they have. I don’t need perfect. I just need someone who won’t mistake different for difficult. Someone who doesn’t ask me to become somebody else… Only someone willing to understand me.
